Research Status and Prospects of Chinese Government Big Data Governance—Based on Bibliometric Analysis of CSSCI Journals from 2009 to 2019

Government big data governance is the inevitable choice of government governance innovation, which profoundly affects the development process of government governance system and governance capacity modernization. With "Big data Governance" and "Government" as the theme, this paper selects 215 articles from CSSCI journals from 2009 to 2019 from CNKI. Through literature metrology visualization analysis, it is found that the number of articles is increasing year by year, and attention is increasing continuously. The research focuses on "government big data governance", supplemented by relevant elements and theories of the government governance system itself. Research on government big data governance in China is expanding both in content and boundary, but there are still deficiencies in theoretical definition, integration of relevant theories, and diversity of research methods and perspectives. The dilemma reflected by the current research situation will provide important guidance for the future research.
